CMS Summer School is run by volunteers – are you able to help?

Volunteers needed

Each year CMS Summer School is enabled by the efforts of several volunteers, and we need your help!

Are you able to volunteer in one of the following roles? (see descriptions below)

  • Bus
  • Car Parking
  • Check-In (Adult)
  • Check-In (Youth & Children)
  • Environmental Services
  • Morning Tea
  • Pedestrian Safety
  • Plaza
  • Shuttle
  • Youth & Children’s Programs (see ‘Youth & Children’s Programs’ section below for how to express your interest)

If you’re able to help with a role (other than the Youth & Children’s Program), please indicate your willingness in your Summer School application form.

CMS is committed to the safety and well-being of all adults and children who attend CMS Summer School. Therefore, all volunteer roles agree to abide by the CMS Code of Conduct and are subject to selection criteria including a minister referee, Working With Children Check and Safe Ministry Training.

With the exclusion of youth and children’s programs, there are variations in the in the number of shifts for each role. All volunteers who are willing and allocated to roles for five days or more will have the option to receive a refund of their registration should they choose.
